Founded in 2020 by Heath Curry, BridgePoint Advocacy© is dedicated to empowering organizations and individuals through trauma-informed care, equity, diversity, and inclusion training. With over two decades of hands-on experience and training in developmental disability services, legal casework, and staff training, Heath built BridgePoint Advocacy to fill critical gaps in compassionate, compliance-driven education for human-service professionals.

Heath’s background includes:

Corporate Trainer, —Designing and delivering OIS-certified, CPR-instructor-led curricula for direct support professionals and supervisory staff.
Paralegal & Legal Advocate—Over 15 years of case management, legal writing, and client advocacy, including work with vulnerable youth in the juvenile justice system.
School Board Chair—Leading crisis response and collective bargaining as Chair of a 6,000 student district during the Covid crisis.
Caregiver & Family Advocate—Personal experience supporting a child with cerebral palsy, driving a person-centered approach to training and support.

A ten-module Trauma Responsive Care curriculum tailored to I/DD, legal, and human services professionals.
An eight-module Equity, Diversity & Inclusion program with sector-specific tracks.
Custom workshops, self-paced online courses, and turnkey toolkits—all aligned with Oregon’s ORS/OAR standards and federal best practices, with OIS certification instruction coming soon!
