First Virtual Cohort Completes Trauma Responsive Care

We celebrated the graduation of our inaugural live virtual cohort this month—18 Direct Support Professionals from three agencies completed all ten modules of Trauma Responsive Care. Participants reported a 40% increase in confidence using de-escalation strategies and praised the interactive “Follow the Pattern” exercises for cementing their learning in real-world scenarios.

Release of Consumer Abuse Prevention CurriculumOur fully built Consumer Abuse Prevention trainer guide and slide deck went live this month. Aligned with Oregon’s ORS/OAR standards, the curriculum equips staff to identify, report, and prevent abuse. Agencies can now access quizzes, handouts, and certificate templates to ensure both compliance and compassionate response to vulnerable adults.

Pilot Study: Impact of Trauma Training on Incident RatesIn partnership with a regional provider, we conducted a pilot evaluation of our Trauma Responsive Care curriculum.
